Penetrate the best of defenses
If charming enough
Words slash cuts
Leave scars
And tattoos
Reveal ugly, ugly truths
Sometimes they even leave bruises
But words can heal
And even ugly truth is a better deal
Than worthless lies
Words can fill you up with hope
Words can release all the pain
Words can bring peace
And teach
And ease
The tension of all that balled up shit inside
